Spring is when the energy bursts upward and outwards.

As with each tree there is also the more moderate downward and inward flow to the root system. This emphasises the importance of resting to recharge your batteries. If you are affected by too much movement, energy and colour, having time to rest and meditate helps to balance and stabilise.

Spring is flexible and bending as well as strong and durable. During spring flowers bloom, babies are born and spirits are lifted. Eat smaller meals regularly, especially dark leafy greens and fish. Remember to get enough sleep.

Spring is a time to emerge and burst forth. The sunlight lasts longer and the daytime temperature rises.

Get into nature, listen to the birds, enjoy the movement and colours and feel the breeze.
